In person in Fort Worth and virtual in Texas

You do everything you’re supposed to do. You keep up with work. You show up for your kids. You manage everything and it still somehow doesn’t feel like enough.

Maybe on the outside everything looks fine, but your racing thoughts catch up with you at night, replaying conversations and moments during your day you wish you could just let go. You’re tired of questioning yourself and your capabilities.

You’re tired of treading water and are ready to thrive. You’ve built a beautiful life and you are ready to fully live it.

Therapy for women who feel anxious, overwhelmed, and ready to get unstuck.

Hey, I’m Christine.

I’ve been a therapist for over 10 years and can’t imagine doing anything else. Seriously. Cross my heart, hope to thrive. Anxious stay-at-home mom? Single gal looking to date but terrified of where to start? ADHD college girl trying to stay on top? Overworked and overlooked aeronautical engineering queen? Here for you.

I am actually deeply obsessed with helping women go from stuck to LIVING. I have two beautiful children that gave me a bumpy ride postpartum (hello, PMH-C credential, and hello, potential late-in-life ADHD diagnosis), and thank you to Katherine Morgan Schafler, I’ve formally accepted my perfectionism and see it as a superpower, not a curse (in balance). My life’s mission is to help women know that they don’t have to simply be good, but they can live a life that feels authentic, real, and true. The good news about anxiety is that it is one of the most treatable mental health conditions out there. And ya girl?

She knows how to help.

Therapy with me feels:

Creative, engaging, warm, fun, deep, human, approachable.

And we go at your pace. Need to gab and giggle? I’m there. Need to cry? There’s tissues on the couch. Tell me about your boyfriend, your work nemesis, your cat, your kid’s soccer coach. I’m here for it all.

My modality? The truth is there are so many to love. I’m a lifelong learner and won’t stop, and know that the research shows that it’s not actually the modality that helps you. It’s whether you trust your therapist.

The good news is I’m EMDR-certified, somatic trained, PMH-C suited and booted, and ADHD-CCSP–certified.

Specialties

You have everything you need to succeed, but sometimes we all need a little nudge. You hold everyone else. Let someone else hold you.

Anxiety

Racing thoughts. Inability to sit still. Believing the “what ifs.” Anxiety can feel like a total beast to tackle on your own. Maybe we’ve also believed for far too long that anxiety is bad. It’s time to flip the script and understand what it’s telling us and how we can change our relationship to it. In therapy, we can uncover your story of anxiety, driving factors, and work to create lasting change together.

Perinatal Mental Health and Matrescence

Feeling nervous about becoming a mom? Feeling like you aren’t doing a good enough job now that you are a mom? The good news is I’ve been there, failed, learned, and have an obsession with helping moms become who they are meant to be. This is why I got my PMH-C credential to support you. Exactly where you are.

Moms are told way too much how to act. How to think. How to take care of their babies. But moms aren’t held.

Perinatal mental health, from conception to a year after birth, can be so complicated and yet one of the most beautiful and meaningful times in a woman’s life. Old stuff can come up. Identity questions loom. Dishes pile up and you might want to rage at the dog that just. won’t. quit. barking. Throw in PPA, PPD, and PPOCD and it seems like the road is so much more treacherous. Let’s work to make it as smooth of a ride as possible (and more baby hugs without the guilt).

Women with ADHD

Women are getting diagnosed by the bucketful later in life. If you are curious if you have ADHD, let’s chat. You might’ve always had an inkling that something just wasn’t quite right, or that it feels like life just seems to be easier for others. Maybe you obsess over a relationship or replay a conversation. Maybe you spaced out in school and got by because you luckily had a friend who told you what the homework was. Maybe your emotions go up and down. ADHD might be at play here.

High Achievers and Perfection Seekers

If you resonate with The Perfectionist’s Guide to Losing Control, you’re in good company. You enjoy the work. You love the drive. You don’t want to slow down and you definitely don’t want to lose your edge. Maybe you’re worried about starting therapy because you don’t want emotions to get in the way.

The good news is it takes one to know one. I’m not here to change your perfectionism—I’m here to retool it. Women get told too often that they shouldn’t be perfectionists, but what they should hear is that they can lead a life of achievement, but with balance. Therapy with me won’t change your drive. We will learn to be purposeful together. Let’s add fun and rest to the mix, shall we?
